Tips

• Keep file size small (25 cards or less). Smaller files are more manageable.
• Use the first cards as a template for shapes you will use many times. For example: if you had to make some cards that contained graphs, you could draw the basic graph in the first card and copy it. Then paste it as needed in subsequent cards.
• Don't print double-sided unless using heavy paper (24lb) or card stock.
• Make use of fonts for special characters. Check fonts like Symbol and Wingdings for special characters.
• Don't put too much in one card. The most effective note cards are ones that cover one idea succinctly.
• Look for new uses for FlashCards. For example: you can use FlashCards to make notes for a speech or presentation (in this case you should print on cardstock).
• Use Windows character map to insert foreign language characters: ex. Minha esposa é tão linda! (Portuguese).
